Our Mission Statement

The Holyoke club was one of two boys and girls clubs that received the first-time grant, with the remaining 18 awards going to public school systems across the Commonwealth. The club designed a program that addresses the needs of middle school students. Cavanaugh said the club saw a drop in 12 and year-old members participating the program. The Holyoke club wanted a program that was academically enriching and tackled summer learning loss. The program also had to engage teenagers. The club serves mostly children from low-income situations. Justin Bresnahan, a program coordinator with the Holyoke club, said the members participate part of the day in the Career Launch program, which focuses on their interests and future pursuits.
