Super Smash Bros. They consist of original animation and gameplay videos showcasing the characters' special moves. When introducing a newcomer, a splash art with a line of text is displayed. Newcomers have also received matching pieces of poster artwork, many of which make direct reference to their trailers. Villager's trailer, shown at E3 and also doubling as the first trailer for the game, begins with Villager in an Animal Crossing town checking his mailbox and receiving a letter. He is then shown excitedly running through the town while the animal citizens look at him with surprise. The open envelope drifts down, catching Tom Nook's eye; the camera pays extra attention to the seal on the letter, that used for the Super Smash Bros.
